Beatriz Perez, Photographer.

I am Beatriz! A Spanish-born, Venezuelan photographer based in London. I am a Conceptual and Portrait Photographer.
I graduated with an MA in Photographic Studies from the University of Westminster in 2013. My work was short-listed for the Renaissance Photography Prize in June 2012.

My photographic practice is concerned with the visual representation of the subtle, yet complex, interplay and ongoing dialogue of the inner self with the external environment. My work explores the power of the subconscious mind where dialogues shift, fragment, interrupt, and expose emotional states.I have gained a strong commercial acumen as a Business Consultant working in major multinational organisations, in the UK and abroad.

I am currently a Researcher and Assistant to renowned Magnum Photographer Chris Steele-Perkins. I also do Volunteering work at the Camden Arts Centre and have worked at a leading commercial art gallery in London.

I am currently looking for Agency Representation and I am available for Commissions.
